Book directly

Schedule an appointment.

Choose a time online and tell us, in one or two sentences, what the matter involves. You will receive confirmation and a short document list before the meeting.

Existing clients: documents and filings are available through the secure client portal. If you cannot locate your invitation, call the office rather than emailing sensitive records.

Before you write

Please do not send confidential details yet.

Contacting the firm, whether by email, form, telephone, or social media, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and no relationship exists until a written engagement agreement is signed by both of us. Until then, information you send is not protected as a confidential attorney-client communication and the firm may already represent someone with adverse interests.

For a first message, a general description is enough: the type of matter, the agency involved if there is one, and any deadline printed on a notice. Everything else belongs in the appointment.

Deadlines

If your notice has a response date, say so in the first line.

Some rights, including the right to petition the United States Tax Court, expire on the date printed on the letter and cannot be revived. Time-sensitive matters are triaged first.

Correspondence

Bring the notice. Bring the question.

Most matters begin with a single appointment and a clear answer about what it will take.
